Core Systems Update 2009
It’s time for a core systems update. We’ve made significant progress over the past six months or so. (Compare with the 2008 and 2007 updates.)
The most significant recent milestones are:
Replaced LDAP with direct access to the Bridges directory for demographics in FIND.
Maturation of COMTrac integration with FIND and ModCore.
Course and faculty evaluations moved from EvalSuite to ModCore.

Updated Course Evaluation Form
We are in the process of updating our core course/clerkship evaluation form to match the recently updated faculty evaluation forms.
Classification and Coding of Courses
With the growing number of interconnected systems there is a need for a single consistent way to refer to a specific class.
We have designed a four part nomenclature that includes the campus
course number (when available), an extension for electives, the academic year,
and the period/rotation (when applicable).
